Our club has paragliding school. School takes place spring - autumn, during weekend on Olympic mountain Bjelasnica - Babin Dol. All students are provided with equipment which includes school paraglider (DHV1), harness, helmet, rescue parachute and literature.
School program:

theory (theory of aerodynamics, flying techniques and meteorology),
practical part which includes introducing the equipment, pre- flight check ,launching,
first take offs, landings and high flights,
all about micrometeorology conditions on flying locations.
School takes 4-5 weekends or 8-10 days.
After your successfully finished school for paragliding pilot, it is possible to buy paragliding equipment from the best paragliding manufacturers in the world.
Paragliding is a dangerous sport and qualified instructors are the ONLY way to start flying safe and successfully.
Don't try to learn from a book or by yourself, because wrong judgment or decision can lead to injuries. The most often injuries happen as a result of poor knowledge of the weather conditions as well as flying techniques.
